The Restaurant Bad a new Lunch Menu which was as exzellent as the former one,, very creative courses with prrfect flavor combinations combined with an outstanding service and with a good price for a Michelin Restaurant. Also the view over Mannheim is beautiful, on clear dass you can see the castle of Heidelberg.

Wir waren beim Omakase-Dinner des japanischen Sushi-Meisters Szmurlo im Rahmen eines Pop-up Diners. Alle G&auml;ste, etwa 10, sitzen nebeneinander und Dawid Szmurlo gegen&uuml;ber, der live die Gerichte zubereitet.Wir fanden das gut und interessant, aber man muss wissen, dass man G&auml;ste direkt neben sich hat.Das Essen war sehr, den Wein muss man sich extra bestellen, es gibt keine Weinbegleitung. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt war, dass der Wein und der Sekt nicht k&uuml;hl genug waren.Ansonsten ein sehr interessanter und sch&ouml;ner Abend. Herr Szmurlo berichtet sehr sch&ouml;n, wie er warum welchen Fisch zubereitet und man kann ihn wirklich alles fragen.

Service professionell, sehr aufmerksam, nicht aufdringlich, &quot;gerade richtig&quot;, selbstbewusst, mit Humor (gute Laune trotz geringer Auslastung), Ambiente etwas sachlich und karg, der Blick auf Mannheims D&auml;cher ist nicht wirklich prickelnd,  Qualit&auml;t des Essens ausgezeichnet, nicht zu viele modische Sperenzchen (k&uuml;nstlerische Malerei mit Lebensmitteln), hervorragender Geschmack der Speisen steht erkennbar im Vordergrung, auch sinnvolle neue Kombination von Zutaten. Aslo: guter Ruf gerechtfertigt. Konzentration auf Fisch m.E.  sinnvoll und richtig, muss nur im Internetauftritt des Hauses Engelhorn durchg&auml;ngig klargestellt werden.
